Senior Houdini FX / Crowd Technical Director

I am an FX Artist and Technical Director with over 19 years of experience in the visual effects and animation industry. Throughout my career, I have worked in film, television, and international advertising, providing advanced technical solutions with a strong artistic vision. I have collaborated with international studios such as Sony, Weta Digital, Scanline VFX and Ranchito.

I specialise in Houdini FX, developing complex simulations and high-level effects for technically and creatively demanding productions.

My work focuses on developing advanced simulations in Houdini, combining technical precision and a cinematic approach. I work in demanding production environments, with complex pipelines and multidisciplinary teams distributed globally.

        In this project, I led the development of look development for advanced simulations, ensuring that the effects were fully aligned with the artistic direction of the feature film.

        Key responsibilities:

        • Creation of optimised and complementary simulations for scene integration.
        • Fine-tuning physical behaviour and visual aesthetics.
        • Coordination with supervisors to maintain narrative consistency.
        • Development of efficient technical solutions under demanding delivery times.
